LabSwApp is a biomedical resource-sharing platform developed from initial concept and architecture to full deployment with admin capabilities. Designed to help university laboratories reduce waste and maximize budgets, LabSwApp enables labs to exchange chemical reagents that would otherwise be unused and expire, creating a sustainable ecosystem across academic research institutions.

Our process centered on understanding the unique workflows of university research environments. The platform allows labs to list available reagents or request specific compounds, browse verified university lab profiles, and coordinate exchanges. Secure payment processing and dedicated support ensure every transaction runs smoothly, while the admin backend provides real-time analytics and oversight.

LabSwApp was built using the xHuman AI Toolchain alongside Bolt and Supabase. Now used by over 100 university labs, the platform demonstrates how thoughtful design practices can turn a common pain point into a collaborative solution for the research community.
